Commencal describe this frame as being ultra effecient and full of charcter. Those sound like great traits for a downcountry bike, so we wanted to add components that highlight those features.

After a quick brainstorm with Ash here's what we came up with.

Cockpit was the first topic on the agenda. Given this bike is made to get rowdy we though a bombproof Deity cockpit was the perfect option. Opting for the trail carbon Skywire bar in 760mm length with a 35mm Copperhead stem. For touchpoints we went with Deity Lockjaw in stealth, and Speedtrap saddle. 

For wheels, we needed to keep it light and strong. Stan's Flow Mk4 29" were the perfect pairing, fitted with Stan's E-sync hubs. Of course it was missing a bit of pop, hence we were quick to order some custom graphics from Slik Graphics in Lilac Purple. Goodyear Escape was the tyre of choice - these are super light and roll like a dream, while providing enough grip to get the job done.

For protection we let a DYEDBRO Clear Glitter take care of the frame and a Wide Open Marshguard for the fork.
