KELLY'S EUROPEAN SEASON WRAP-UP
CORSAIR AD FEATURING KELLY IN ONE OF HIS EUROPEAN COMPS
Hey Brus

I just got into Whistler B.C in Canada after 3 months traveling, riding, competing, camping, driving, etc in EUROPE with my GF Sha.
We showed up in Switzerland end of march and Brought a sh*tbox of a panel van for 200 euros ($400 NZD) loaded 'er up with all my bikes and all our gear and hit the road.
We went to 13 different countries and traveled 13,500 km in our van, sometimes we stayed in the van, sometimes at friends places, sometimes at random peoples places and sometimes at hotels if the competitions provided them.
We had to do the trip a cheap as we could, so we could afford to keep traveling.
I really like travelling in EU, landscapes, cultures, languages, foods change so much as you drive from place to place, and the people were really good to us.
Of the all the countries I went to one of my Favorites had to be Austria, Austria is packed with big mountains, blue lakes, cool bike parks and good beers and friendly people, it suited me just fine.
It was good fun riding in all of the comps, there is a good crew of riders from all over EU that are at every comp you go too, and you get to know them all and its a pretty cool vibe, the points I got from all the events I attended have me sitting in 13th place on the Freeride Mountainbike World Tour (FMB) so thats cool, The top ten get an invite to Kokanee Crankworx in Whistler this year( the top 8 from crankworx 09 are pre qualed so top 15 FMB will probably get invites) So I hope to get back in the top ten with a few big comps coming up in USA over the next few weeks.

Apart from gettin my van jacked the trip went pretty well, the mighty van made it every where we needed to go, I didn't get any bad injuries and I rode some great spots and meet some top people.

Its good to be back in my Northern hemisphere home of Whistler, the riding is so sick over here, we got a house close to the lifts so I am pumped. I am coaching at camp of Champions for a week before heading over to New hampshire and Colorado for some comps. Keep an eye on my missions at www.kellymcgazza.blogspot.com
