Wide Open has had a proud history in sponsoring New Zealand riders. We take a trip down memory lane….. |

| Glenn Haden was our first full sponsored rider in 2005. |

| 2006 was the beginning of Team Wide Open. Glenn Haden and Des Curry's first outing in team colours was a good one finishing 1st and 2nd at the first race of the year at the Mount. |

| Des was in outstanding form in 2006 finishing 2nd behind JK at the Rotorua Worlds course. |

| JK showed all the kiwi boys how it’s down at the Rotorua national. |

| In 2007 a kid by the name of Sam Blenkinsop became part of Team Wide Open, the rest is history…… |

| Wide Open formed a partnership with USA based team Turner/ODI which saw Des racing Norba’s |

| In 2007 Wide Open added southern free rider Brett Frew to the team |

| Sam’s race career was changed for ever… Shortly after the Worlds in Rotorua Sam was signed by Martin Whitley who signed him with Yeti |

| 2008 Nathan Rankin was aboard all Wide Open products except the frame….we thought he was retired??? |

| 2008 Team Wide Open became Matt Scoles and young pinner Vaughan Woolhouse |

| 2008 Kelly McGarry joined Brett as part of our freeride team |

Wide Open has also supported Gordon Walker for the last 3 years, winning two Coast to Coast races on Vision products.

| Matt Scoles has been with Wide Open for two seasons now and is currently in Europe flying the flag |
